Mineral Exploration Company and technology developer technology detector aimed at simplifying digital cobalt ore sites, Kobold Metals, has recently become famous for using sophisticated artificial intelligence and computer technology to predict underground formation. Nor is it news that two world-renowned millionaires, Jezz Bezos of Amazon and Bill Gates of Microsoft support the company's mineral exploration needs.
AI mineral power company that won $ 192.5m in the Series B round in February this year in a statement on Thursday announced that it will start digging in Greenland to find valuable equipment used in electric vehicles.
KoBold based in Silicon Valley, a company known for using artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) methods to collect raw data for raw materials used in EVs, last year acquired a 51 percent share in Disko-Nuussuaq. project on the west coast of Greenland, operated by Bluejay Mining on the London list.
Disko-Nuussuaq intends to use drones to conduct a high-resolution magnetic survey in the area, as it plans to dig 3,000 meters this year.
"The aim is to identify major metals for nickel, copper, cobalt and platinum," Bluejay Mining chief executive Bo Steensgaard said in a statement.
Ukraine's invasion of Russia by sanctions imposed by the West against Vladimir Putin led to a double increase in the price of nickel, used in stainless steel and electric car batteries, as Russia supplies about 10 percent of the world's nickel requirements.
"The recent tragic political developments are a clear indication that Western countries need new deposits of these precious metals," Steensgaard said.
KoBold, a private company, had its major investors including a climate and technology fund backed by Microsoft founder Bill Gates, known as ‘Breakthrough Energy Ventures’, Bloomberg founder Michael Bloomberg, and Amazon founder Jeff Bezos.
KoBold CEO, Kurt House, while announcing the piercing said:
“Globalization of the global economy is a major challenge for our generation. To achieve that lofty goal we must accelerate our efforts to achieve the essentials of replacing electric vehicles, ”he said.
KoBold has other investors such as the Silicon Valley business fund, Andreessen Horowitz, a Norwegian state-owned energy company, Equinor, and Ray Dalio, founder of the world's largest hedge fund Bridgewater Associates.
